Cauliflower Au Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1

    • Whole Cauliflower

  • 12oz

    • Chef and his Wife Pimento Cheese (any flavor)

  • 1 tsp each

    • Curry (optional)

    • Dijon Mustard (optional)

  • ½ tsp

    • Paprika (to sprinkle on top)

 

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, add a small amount of water and place a basket in it.

  2. Put the whole head of cauliflower in the basket and steam for 15 minutes or until it's fork-tender.

  3. Carefully remove the cauliflower and place it in a shallow oven-proof dish to cool for an hour.

  4. (Optional) Mix seasoning into the Pimento Cheese.

  5. Using a spoon or cake knife, evenly spread the pimento cheese on the cauliflower and sprinkle paprika on top.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Cut slices from the center and serve. Enjoy!
